Saint Patrick’s Weekend at Grace Park

Parade Day Saturday March 16th

We have plenty of Irish music, all the traditional favorite Irish food items on the menu and great Guinness.
Celebrate Saint Patricks Parade Day with us.

at 5:00pm we begin with Irish pub songs and ballads belted out by Mick and the lads for McBackerty’s Tappers.
From 6:30pm. Traditional Irish and Celtic music from @Ladies of the Lake (aka LOL). An all woman band with Allison Arnold on flute and tin whistle, Trish Hornick on fiddle and bodhran, Eileen Reagan on fiddle, harp and guitar, Lynn Hayes on Bouzouki and guitar. There will be jigs and reels, hornpipes and slow airs.

Finally, at around 8:30pm. Crann Úll will take the stage. A great show of traditional Irish music played with passion and humor.
There's Rob Sharer on Flute, banjo and bodhran. Margaret Rush on guitar, Jack Devereaux playing fiddle and Larre Reeves on Squeezebox.

Saint Patrick’s Day, Sunday March 17th

For our 6th Saint Patrick's Day at Grace Park we have retained the musicians that have proven so popular to date.

From Noon: Shanachie- Kevin and Debbie with stirring ballads of rebellion, immigration and lost love. The story of Ireland in song to a beautifully played background of mandolin and guitar.

From 2:30pm McBackerty's Tappers- A selection of drinking songs and lively tunes from Mike and the lads. Your toes will be tapping when the tappers take the stage.

From 5:30pm: Crann Úll will provide the traditional Irish music for the evening. Rob Sharer on Banjo, flute & guitar (not all at the same time!), Margaret Rush from Dublin on vocals and guitar, Larre Reeves on Squeezebox & flute, last but by no means least, the brilliant Jack Devereaux on fiddle.

This magnificent group of musicians will be joined at some point by the adult ladies of Inis Cairde School of Irish Dance who will create a spectacular finale to the day, dancing to jigs and reels played by live musicians.

Besides this there'll be all your favorite Irish dishes prepared by Chef Eamonn Kelly & the team. Great Guinness and the best of Craic.

All timings are approximate because we are an Irish Pub not a German pub!
