There will be jigs and reels, hornpipes and slow airs.
Finally, at around 8:30pm. Crann Úll will take the stage. A great show of traditional Irish music played with passion and humor.
There's Rob Sharer on Flute, banjo and bodhran. Margaret Rush on guitar, Jack Devereaux playing fiddle and Larre Reeves on Squeezebox.
Saint Patrick’s Day, Sunday March 17th
For our 6th Saint Patrick's Day at Grace Park we have retained the musicians that have proven so popular to date.
From Noon: Shanachie- Kevin and Debbie with stirring ballads of rebellion, immigration and lost love. The story of Ireland in song to a beautifully played background of mandolin and guitar.
From 2:30pm McBackerty's Tappers- A selection of drinking songs and lively tunes from Mike and the lads. Your toes will be tapping when the tappers take the stage.
From 5:30pm: Crann Úll will provide the traditional Irish music for the evening. Rob Sharer on Banjo, flute & guitar (not all at the same time!), Margaret Rush from Dublin on vocals and guitar, Larre Reeves on Squeezebox & flute, last but by no means least, the brilliant Jack Devereaux on fiddle.
This magnificent group of musicians will be joined at some point by the adult ladies of Inis Cairde School of Irish Dance who will create a spectacular finale to the day, dancing to jigs and reels played by live musicians.
Besides this there'll be all your favorite Irish dishes prepared by Chef Eamonn Kelly & the team. Great Guinness and the best of Craic.
All timings are approximate because we are an Irish Pub not a German pub!
