LikeTraditional Irish Music? Enjoy a real Irish Session at Tra'Li Morrisville. Where fiddle, squeezebox, flute, tin-whistle and more besides combine in spontaneous harmony.
On the first Saturday of every month.
If you are Irish or have been to Ireland it will evoke memories of old pubs in Clare "where pipes and fiddlers play" or a Summers evening in Galway City with the music lilting out through the windows of Tig Cóilí Pub onto the cobbled streets. If you are not Irish or have never been, it will make you want to visit.
Come and enjoy an informal tradition that dates back to the medieval bards. Have a pint or two of Guinness to compliment the music and be transported to a different time and place for a few hours.
Old Play is an energetic, local dad-band covering four decades of classic, nostalgic, and eclectic crowd pleasers--including The Rolling Stones, R.E.M., Tom Petty, Green Day, The Killers, Goo Goo Dolls and many more. Blending guitars, rhythms, vocals and a strong sense of humor, Old Play delivers a night of good music and good fun.
The band members include: Jon Hagar (keys/vocals)--who comes from a musical family, Blain Dillard (guitars/vocals)--will don a black cowboy hat for at least one song, Matt Benson (bass/vocals) is currently teaching his newborn son the trade, Brian York (guitars/comedy) will insert comedic remarks between songs, and Greg Diagonale (drums/percussion) started playing in high school and hasn't grown much since then.
Come hear them play their first gig at the pub.
